Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in City of Norfolk, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
