Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in Lucas County, Iowa. The job is at an auto components factory. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
