Formwork carpenter • Hampshire County, Massachusetts

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured 3+ years on the tools preferred.
