Gas metal arc welder — Aiken County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Aiken County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Performance bonus on top of base pay.
