Steel fixing chargehand — Kudan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Kudan, Kaduna State. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
