Production operative — Mendocino County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production operative in Mendocino County, California. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills On a typical shift you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
