Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
