Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Hardeman County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads 1+ years on the tools preferred.
