Port container crane operator • Spalding County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Spalding County, Georgia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Six days a week, one day off.
