Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Six days a week, one day off.
