Sheet metal welder wanted in Kalamazoo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
