Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will work in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing.
