Horizontal milling machine operator — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Macon County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade The role involves hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
