Immediate opening: flat roof installer (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flat roof installer in Augusta County, Virginia. You will work at a busy roofing firm. You should have: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Day-to-day duties: • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
