Plant operator • Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. The job is in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £2,250 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
