Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Angus, Scotland. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. £17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
