Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Plymouth, England. Day-to-day duties: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
