Tyre and wheel fitter — Brighton and Hove

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Brighton and Hove, England. The job is in a tyre and puncture shop. Day to day you will vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
