Pipe tig welder • Adams County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Adams County, North Dakota. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
