Steel fixer — Meigs County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Meigs County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
