Safety officer wanted in Donga

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Donga, Taraba State. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
