Rough terrain crane operator — Beauregard Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
