Vacancy available: earthmoving plant operator (Pennsylvania)

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a landfill site. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Six days a week, one day off.
