Truck driver — Oswego County

Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in Oswego County, New York. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience 1+ years on the tools preferred.
