Immediate opening: lift technician (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Emmet County, Iowa. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
