Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Njikoka, Anambra State. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
