Lift installation engineer • Johnson County, Tennessee

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Johnson County, Tennessee. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
