Domestic gas engineer — Beaverhead County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Beaverhead County, Montana. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings You will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
