Immediate opening: lawn care technician (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lawn care technician in DeSoto County, Florida. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
