Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Liverpool, England. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. £1,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
