Steel fixer wanted in Marion County

You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
