Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Garfield County, Montana. Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts.
