Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Lucas County, Iowa. You will work on a quarry floor. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
