Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Archer County, Texas. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
