Join our team: gas appliance installer (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Surrey, England. You will work at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches On a typical shift you will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
