Join our team: we are hiring a building site helper in Shelby County, Alabama. Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Full-time with occasional weekends.
