Safety inspector — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety inspector in Jefferson County, Missouri. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Your main tasks: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
