Now hiring: we are hiring an auto diagnostics technician in Douglas County, Oregon. The job is at a commercial vehicle fleet depot. You should have: • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • 2+ years' hands-on auto electrical experience Your main tasks: • Programme keys and reset immobilisers • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking • Repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner Full-time, day shift. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
