You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience You will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
