Tig welder — Bremer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Bremer County, Iowa. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
