The role involves meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
