Heavy equipment operator wanted in Yankwashi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Yankwashi, Jigawa State. You will be based at a stone quarry. The role involves top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; check for underground cables and services before digging; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 3+ years on the tools preferred.
