You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Your main tasks: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦260,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
