Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Henry County, Kentucky. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Rotating shifts.
