Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Frederick County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites Your main tasks: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
