Stainless steel welder — Susquehanna County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
