Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Derbyshire, England. The job is at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Your main tasks: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans Pay around £2,200 per month, based on your experience.
