Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Lumpkin County, Georgia. The job is at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
