Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in City of Suffolk, Virginia. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; score the top of loaves before baking. What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
