Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Fayette County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
